Lovely hat, great service Having become increasingly frustrated with high street stores only stocking one-size-fits-all hats that look like fascinators on my head, I found Village Hats on the internet after a Google search. I measured my head, ordered the suggested size, and the hat arrived next day, carefully packaged and in perfect condition. The hat fits as it should, looks well made, and exactly what I was looking for. I am delighted with my purchase and will be making Village Hats my first port of call next time.

Great hat I ordered this hat in Natural after not being able to fit into any women's hats or even large sized men's hats on the high st. My head measures 61cm and the XL was a perfect fit, very comfortable with the elasticated headband but stayed put on a breezy walk. Great sun shade for a pale person too, and I like that you can remove the feather pin if preferred. It's a very classic design and will go with a lot of different outfits. Dispatched quickly and arrived in 3 working days, which was much appreciated with the hot weather. Will definitely be ordering my hats from here in future!

PERFECT FIT Received hat in a very well packaged box from Village hats. Great hat for the money, keeps it shape well, quality woven straw as a real Panama, not paper as some cheap products. Have bought several hats from Village hats and they have all been top quality. Would thoroughly recommend.

Good quality hat This was my first order from Village hats but can safely say it won't be my last. My order was delivered promptly with which I was most impressed. I was impressed further by the good quality hat I received, my very first Fedora!. It seems good value for money. I actually bought a size above my measured head. Head is 62 so bought XXL (63). I did this as I like a slightly loose hat rather than perfectly fitting/snug. I am glad I did as my hoped for fit came true with one being able to fairy easily place 1-2 fingers between head and head band. I also bought a size up to ensure plenty of space in the crown from my larger head which also worked out as hoped. The fit is brilliant for calm sunny days and can take a little breeze too, though admittedly in a fresh breeze I would lose my lovely Fedora. But as I live in NI I plan to bring it out only on the best of days, sun wise, as the Toyo Straw will not handle any rain well (it would be obvious to most that the hat is in no way designed for inclement weather). I will soon look Village's nice felt Fedora range.

Lovely but a little larger than expected I ordered two hats at the same time, both are Jaxon & James both were XXL (yes I have a big noggin), but unfortunately this C-Crown Straw Fedora Hat is a bit bigger and sits a bit lower on my head. Don't get me wrong, this is a lovely hat with a surprisingly satisfying weight and natural flexibility, perhaps this is the reason for the sizing issue, you don't feel like you have a paper crown on your head. I decided that I could live with the sizing of this.

Ideal summer hat This is a great hat. I deliberately went a size bigger than normal so I could tuck my ears in and shield as much of my neck as possible - I burn very quickly. A few really hot days later and absolutely no problems. Very happy with it.
