A Hat For All Seasons. Given as a christmas present in 2012, this hat is still going strong. It has taken on character and worn into me - people say I have worn into it. It has been worn almost daily for seven years and suits almost all weathers with the exception of extremes. (For very hot I have a Panama, for very cold a Ushanka.) It has been worn to everything from semi-formal occasions to nights on the sauce with the boys. Rained on, (Rarely has it soaked through.) snowed on, roasted, blown off, recovered, (At times by an automatic hat retrieval system - a dog.) treaveled, hill walked, sailed, city slicked and country bumpkined: it has done all with style. It is now on it's second hat band and if Village Hats or J&J read this please do an even limited range of simple hat bands as they are hard to source, even on the www. I cannot praise this hat enough. I was hoping to post a picture of it in action on a dreich day in the Outer Hebrides but there is no method to do that.

Not Quite As Expected The hat arrived promptly and beautifully packed. However it resembled more of a cowboy hat than what I imagined an outback hat to be - even having studied the photo on the website. I may have been inclined to keep it until my wife saw it. When she had stopped laughing she said, "You look ridiculous, when's the (blank) horse arriving?" So unfortunately it's being returned ans I'll order another hat that meets with her approval!

Brilliant I used to have a hat similar to this but it was a tad small. Spotted this and was delighted to find the XXL size which, having measured my head carefully, should have been the perfect fit. And it is. Hat is brilliant as is the service. Delivered to my address in under 24 hours and packaged in a box designed for hats so it arrived in perfect condition. My first buy from this company but I'm sure I will be back. That Panama looks tempting....

Very Smart this 'cowboy' type hat is a real head turner. As I walk along I can see people turning to have a second look. Even my wife will walk with me while I'm wearing it .
