On my second after the first lasted a number of years. It is light and obviously does the trick when it comes to sun protection. In addition though the wool helps with warmth on cool days, is breathable on hot days and when it rains it will keep the rain out of your eyes. About to buy my third one just in case disaster happens and they stop producing this amazing hat!!! Don’t expect to use the new one for a while yet as the second will undoubtedly keep me going for quite some time. They do fade in the UV over time but that doesn’t bother me, it stays brown just goes darker…

All Year Rounder I bought this hat as I wanted something to wear out in the countryside and neither of my Ford Fedoras were not quite right. This fired the bill, I wear it in summer and winter, it stays in the wind, I have sprayed it with a waterproofer from Nikwax and it helps with the rain. It fits perfectly and is the 3rd hat I have bought from this site. Love it to bits.

Great Hat, Great Service I’m a Village Hats regular and this is now my 15th hat from them, so that should tell you what I think. This Crushable Outback in Olive is luxurious and nice to touch and wear. This one was actually purchased for me for my birthday, although I did choose it.... wouldn’t want anyone else picking my hats. Brilliant all round.

Comfortable Hat I have never bought a hat online before as I prefer to try before I buy. I have a larger hat size and finding the correct fit is not always easy. This turned out to be a good experience all round and I am more than satisfied with my purchase. A little more brown than I was expecting but change is sometimes good!

My hat I have four outback hats and all of them are really smart and in that cold wealth the hat I had on that day kept my head warm and the sun out of my eyes. Since I have had my hats I have seen others wearing outback hats.
