Here is a 100% cotton boonie in khaki from Jaxon & James. The hat is great for everyday wear as well as for travelling. 100% washed cotton twill is soft yet durable. The 7cm wide stitched brim surrounds a 9cm high square crown. A pair of brass eyelets on each side of the crown provides ventilation under the hot sun. A self band provides spots for buttons or small outdoor tools. Adjustable chinstrap with toggle allows you to secure the hat onto your head.

Good quality hat Good hat for the money though I spotted a very loose thread on the edge of the brim, even before its first wear. My head measures 62cm I bought an XXL (63) and the hand/sweat band permits one or two finger between it and my head. As XXL is the closest fitting to my head it was the only choice but I like loose fitting hats and it is just that for me, but gives good head/crown height too. In a moderate breeze I will need to use the handy chin strap.

Excellent I live in Denmark so I was very impressed when my hat arrived 3 days after ordering it. The hat is a perfect fit for my small head and the chin strap will be perfect for windy days. The brim is excellent as I struggle with the sun when taking photographs and need a decent sized brim which this hat definitely has. All in all this hat is perfect for me. Thank you Village Hats.

Best Summer Hat Ever Comfortable and practical. Protected me well from the Sun, sand and wind. When it wasn't windy I slipped the chin-strap over the back of my head, which made the hat more comfortable in sweltering heat. A really excellent buy.

Ideal Hat Wore this hat for kayaking on a hot sunny & windy day. Stayed on my head thanks to the strap and didn't get burnt. Just the job.

A Hat That Fits..... Finally! It's very hard to find a hat over 61cms but Hats and Caps have come to my rescue. Thank you so much. I can now fly fish and garden at the allotment without burning my head. I was so impressed with the first purchase I came back for another one :)

Wonderful I LOVE this hat, it's even better than I expected. Great fit, and a lovely colour - I originally wanted the green one but it was out of stock in my size, and I'm SO glad I got this one instead! I think I'll be back to get the green one later - and it's a shame you don't do them in RED as well !!
