Here is a 100% cotton boonie in putty from Jaxon & James. The hat is great for everyday wear as well as for travelling. 100% washed cotton twill is soft yet durable. The 7cm wide stitched brim surrounds a 9cm high square crown. A pair of brass eyelets on each side of the crown provides ventilation under the hot sun. A self band provides spots for buttons or small outdoor tools. Adjustable chinstrap with toggle allows you to secure the hat onto your head.

Comfortable I didn't have a problem with the size.like a previous reviewer did. I have quite.A small head and found the hat a good fit. Like that you can roll the hat up for putting in cases and really like that it has a chin strap so it doesn't get blown off your head. If I had a gripe it would only be a small one, the material is quite thick for a summer hat but I do really like the hat and it will be great for autumn.

Sizing is off Average head sized lady buyer here! This is not the most stylish unisex hat but it will definitely do the job. It cant blow off my head thanks to the string, like most sun hats do. Looks nice in a very casual and practical way. I found the sizing to be small. I have a 55cm head and sized up to medium. Which feels just right, if not a little snug.

Well made, great brim - but sizing comes up large This is a good, well made hat, nice fabric. The olive green is a beautiful muted colour. Only negative is that was too large, so I am returning and exchanging it for a smaller size. This is annoying as I measured my head and read the customer review (which advises that you size up) and now have to pay for the postage to exchange the hat. This is not clear in the Returns and Exchanges policy which implies that exchanges are free - which is not the case - you pay for return postage, then they pay postage on the exchange item they send to you. Fair enough, but it should be clearly stated at point of purchase.

Favourite Summer Hat They're never going to win fashion awards, i know. But for keeping the sun off your face and out of your eyes- particularly when driving- they're brilliant. My go-to on any hot day.

Packable Cotton Boonie Hat - Putty Fits my big head great on the biggest size. Folds neatly into my bag and protects from sun without being sticky or sweaty. Second time I buy it after having a serious hat losing problem. Great delivery from Village Hats, always recommended.

Great Hat After buying my daughter 2 hats from a similar range, I decided I would have one too. Bought the putty colour which blends with just about any colour. Good quality and fits well. Having a strap is a bonus, no more losing hats just push it backwards and let it hang round your neck.

Packable Booney Hat Hat was despatched promptly and received quickly. The sizing was excellent. it fitted perfectly. For such a low price this is an excellent hat for shading one's eyes and keeping the sun off your head, especially if, like me, you have little hair! Very pleased with this hat. in fact it is the best casual hat I have ever had.
